Formative Assessment Overview
Come learn how to turn what you are already doing in your classrooms into an easy, practical and intentional formative assessments. Here are some comments other teachers have said about the session:

The five session series is designed to introduce teachers to the formative assessment design cycle. Teachers will create a three dimensional formative assessment to use with their students. They will learn how to use, implement, and analyze formative assessments back in their classrooms.

February 26 - Formative Assessment Design Process/Building Common Language
March 5 - Setting Goals and Exploring Student Ideas
March 12 - Design/Select/Adapt Formative Assessment Tools
March 19 - Practicing Using the Tools
March 26 - Making Inferences and Identifying Next Steps
The sessions build on each other, so its important to make as many as you can. All sessions are held at RESA. This session are designed for the new science standards, but anyone can come and build a formative assessment for any content area.
